Types of Accommodations

Hotels offer a variety of accommodation types (primarily different room categories) to suit solo travelers, couples, families, business guests, and those seeking extra luxury or space. These classifications help guests choose the perfect stay based on size, beds, amenities, views, and budget.

By Occupancy (Number of Guests)

Single Room — Designed for 1 person, usually with one twin/single bed.
Double Room — For 2 people, typically with one double, queen, or king bed.
Twin Room — For 2 people, featuring two separate single/twin beds (popular with friends or colleagues).
Triple Room — For 3 people, often with a double/queen bed + one single bed, or three singles.
Quad Room / Quadruple Room — For 4 people, usually with two double/queen beds or other combinations.

By Bed Configuration

Common setups include:
King Bed (large, luxurious for couples)
Queen Bed (standard for doubles)
Twin / Single Beds
Double-Double (two double beds, great for small groups)
Hollywood Twin (two singles pushed together to look like a king size bed)

By Size, Layout & Amenities (Most Common Quality Levels)

These are the categories you’ll see most often on booking sites:
Standard Room — The basic, most affordable option. Compact size with essential amenities (bed, private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, desk).
Superior Room — Slightly upgraded version of standard — better view, higher floor, newer furnishings, or small extra amenities.
Deluxe Room — More spacious and comfortable than standard/superior, often with premium bedding, better location/views, mini-fridge, coffee/tea facilities.
Junior Suite — Larger than a deluxe room, usually includes a separate sitting/living area (but still one main bedroom).
Suite / Executive Suite — Multi-room layout (separate bedroom + living room), higher-end furnishings, sometimes kitchenette or dining area.
Presidential Suite / Penthouse — The most luxurious category — very large, multiple bedrooms, premium views, private balcony/terrace, top-floor location, and exclusive services.

Specialty & Themed Accommodations

Many hotels (especially boutique, resort, or city-center properties like yours in Dipolog) also offer:
Family Room — Extra space and beds/cribs for parents + children.
Accessible / ADA Room — Designed for guests with disabilities (wider doors, roll-in shower, grab bars, etc.).
Connecting Rooms — Two rooms with an internal door — ideal for families or groups wanting privacy + connection.
Studio Room — Open-plan layout with combined sleeping + living area (sometimes with kitchenette).
Executive / Club Room — Includes access to an executive lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks, and drinks.
